How to Enter Cash/Debit Expenses into Knowify

If you have a job expense that was purchased with cash, and won’t be getting billed by a vendor or credit card company, you can select the “Expense” option under Purchase Type when entering a Purchase:

This will automatically cost to the job and create a “Closed” purchase, since it does not need to be reconciled or closed via vendor bill. You’ll be able to find it in the “View History” tab of your Purchases section:
