How RFI’s Work in Knowify?

If you need to request additional information regarding a project from your client or another party, you can use Knowify’s RFI features. To start, go to the Documents & RFI’s tab of the project and click “Send New RFI”:

This will pull up a screen for you to enter a question and any supporting files for reference:

Once sent, the RFI will show the status of Sent in your Documents & RFI’s screen:

The client/party receiving the RFI will get the following e-mail:

With a PDF of the RFI document attached, and a link to bring them to this screen to respond to the RFI:

And when they submit, they will be prompted for an e-signature:

This will send you an e-mail back to let you know the RFI has been answered:

This will also change the status of the RFI to “Answered” and the response, as well as the uploaded files, will be stored in Documents & RFI’s for review and records:
