Step 3: Describe your business

  1. Describe your business by one of these three choices. By selecting the trade/specialty contractor option, you will receive the default invoicing style in your account. You can then choose what type of work you will do:
  2. Residential General Contractors will receive AIA-style invoicing enabled in your account. You will then specify if you perform all of your own work, or use subcontractors for some or all of your jobs:
  3. Select other contractor if neither of the two previous options seem accurate. You will be asked what type of work you do, as well as the type of invoicing you do:
  4. Go to the next step of setup.
